E-GRASAG Celebration Week 2023

The Ensign Graduate Students Association of Ghana (E-GRASAG) organized its annual celebration week, providing students with a well-deserved break from their academic endeavors.

The event took place from March 13th – 18th under the theme “Ethical Leadership in Healthcare,” to foster professional development and encourage networking among Ensonians. The E-GRASAG week
celebration commenced with an informal social event on campus, setting the stage for the official launch of events.

As part of the week’s events, Reverend (Rev) France Albert Davis, a U.S. civil rights activist and religious leader, conducted a leadership workshop for students. He delved into the essential principles demonstrated by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for effective leadership, urging the students to embrace service to others, maintain a clear vision, and be prepared to lead when the time is ripe.

Throughout the week-long celebration, participants enjoyed an array of engaging activities including a visit to a banana farm, a mental health conference, and a debate on the topic of “Overpopulation as a Problem for our Healthcare System.” Other events included an alumni homecoming weekend, a road safety campaign, and a commemorative trip to Asenema Waterfall were organized to enhance the overall experience.

Helen Bour, Cohort Nine, commented, “The E-GRASAG week celebration was a success, and heartfelt gratitude is extended to all Ensonians and contributors who played a role in making the event
memorable”.
