Ensign Global University Holds F26 Matriculation Ceremony for New Students
Ensign Global University officially welcomed and matriculated its newest cohort of Master of Public Health (MPH) students at the year’s first Matriculation Ceremony, reaffirming the university’s commitment to nurturing globally competitive graduates in the Public Health sector. The event marked the formal induction of students into the university community as they begin their academic journey.
In his keynote speech, Professor Stephen Alder, President of Ensign Global University, congratulated the new students on their admission and delivered an inspiring message focused on the university’s main pillars: Leadership, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Patrick Kuma, the Registrar of the university, encouraged students to invest the requisite
discipline and dedication into their academic journeys to ensure a smooth and seamless transition into the Ensign Global community.
“Once you come to Ensign and you study diligently, you cannot fail—it is not in the DNA of
Ensonians to fail,” Mr. Kuma stated.
This commitment to excellence, he explained, is demonstrated by the university’s 98.9% graduation rate—one of the highest in the country. This year’s ceremony featured remarks and goodwill messages from faculty and student representatives, including Mr. Eugene Eli Dzakpo, the E-GRASAG President, and Dr. Sedinam Adamaley, the Alumni Association President.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the signing of the Matricula, officially recording the names
of the new students in the university’s archives. Following the signing, Ms. Edemamwen Omo Osagie delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech on behalf of her cohort.
“On behalf of all matriculating students as the newest Ensonians, we promise to uphold the pillars of this institution—to commit ourselves to the values and discipline required to be great Ensonians, to work hard in our studies and represent this institution with pride, leadership, and integrity at all times,” Ms. Osagie declared.

The February 2026 Master of Public Health cohort builds on the growing breadth of public health practice at Ensign Global University, once again welcoming students from a wide range of disciplines and sectors and highlighting the university’s reputation as a center for academic excellence, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning in public health education.
