Stephen Henry AfakorziPHD, MPH, CPHA
Dr. Stephen H. Afakorzi holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Port Harcourt, and a Chartered Public Health Analyst (CPHA) qualification from the Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM), USA.
Stephen also holds an MPH from Ensign Global University, a PGD in Monitoring and Evaluation from GIMPA, and foundational training in health and education from the University of Cape Coast. With over a decade of professional experience in education, he brings an interdisciplinary perspective to public health and academic quality.
His scholarly interests span maternal and child health and rights, respectful maternity care, health law and ethics, and evidence-informed health policy. At Ensign, he contributes to quality enhancement, teaching, research, and academic development, with a commitment to advancing healthcare, public health practice, and higher education in Ghana and beyond.
