Students from ECOWAS countries
Students arriving in Ghana from ECOWAS countries may not be required to obtain visas, since Ghana is a member of ECOWAS. Please contact Ensign Global University for instructions.
Visa Application
Visas, immigration and travel to Ghana
Visa requirements depend on whether you are arriving from an ECOWAS country or from outside the ECOWAS region.
Non-ECOWAS students
Students from non-ECOWAS countries will require a visa and should contact the nearest Ghanaian Embassy or consulate for instructions and requirements.
Residence permit
Residence permits are processed by the Office of International Affairs once international students have fully registered, and are renewed every year. You will need:
- A copy of your admission letter
- 2 passport-size pictures
- Receipt of payment of fees
- A copy of your non-citizen card (Ghana Card)
