Visas, Immigration, and Travel to Ghana

Ensign Global University provides guidance for international students preparing for travel, visa applications, residence permits, cultural adjustment, and arrival on campus in Ghana.

Visa requirements

What students should know before travelling

Visa requirements depend on whether a student is arriving from an ECOWAS country or from outside the ECOWAS region.

EC

Students from ECOWAS countries

Students arriving in Ghana from ECOWAS countries are not required to obtain visas, since Ghana is a member of ECOWAS.

INT

Non-ECOWAS students

Non-ECOWAS students will require a visa. Ensign Global University provides guidance to help international students understand and prepare for the visa process.
